Kelly MacIntosh-Scott, RMT, IHM, has been practicing massage therapy for
over 18 years and Buddhist meditation for 25 years. Based on these philosophies, she believes that mental, physical and spiritual peace is essential to relax
and calm the body and mind. She prides herself on her ability to listen to the
body, discuss and determine a treatment plan best suited to meet the needs of
not only the tissues, but the clients’ as well!
Kelly is best known for her deep tissue and myofascial release treatments; however she also offers a variety of techniques including Indian Head Massage, rehabilitation and reconditioning and direct treatments for issues involving the neck and back, shoulders and arms, legs and feet. She also offers an accessible clinic for those whom experience mobility issues, are in wheelchairs and works closely with people involved in Special Olympics. Kelly also started Truro's first Challenger Baseball League in 2017, which is a league for kids and youth with diverse needs to get them on a field, on a team, and in a uniform. This is a deep passion of hers!
Outside her clinic hours she spends time with her three children, and her husband, artist Robb Scott. She is passionate about being creative and artistic, including sewing, painting, refurbishing and building furniture and “treasure” hunting. She also enjoys being outside with her family and their dog Tulo.
